The Lavarella HUT

The Lavarella Hut is placed in the heart of the Natural Park Fanes-Sennes-Braies, in a flat basin of the “Klein Fanes” pasture, near the enchanting Green Lake.

Many tourists come here everyday to start for many mountain hikings and walks in the fabulous and magic Fanes region.

The Lavarella Hut has small but quiet bedrooms at our guests’ disposal with a total of  26 beds; in addition you will find 25 bunks divided in more rooms.

The hut is provided with electricity, central heating, warm and cold water for the showers.

In 2003 a tiny chapel, the „Picia Capela de Fanes“, has been built just footsteps from the Hut. It  is consecrated to Saint Ujöp Freinademez (1852 – 1908), a father of our beautiful Val Badia, and located in a wonderful landscape created by God, to collect every word and prayer of the passing people.

Friday 26th June 2009, the Nature Park Fanes-Senes-Braies was added into the prestigious list of UNESCO World Natural Heritage.
